Silver water jug
Water jug in 833 ‰ Portuguese silver, finely decorated with an embossed bar depicting leaves, grapevines and bunches of grapes. The smooth handle gives balance and sobriety to the whole, emphasising the richness of the decorative work. It bears Oporto hallmarks (Javali, 1887-1937) and the José Gil Y Poy (1917-1969) Oporto goldsmith’s mark, testifying to the piece’s authenticity and historical value.
